Prior to your arrival
Here you find the steps you need to do prior to your arrival and information or links to common questions.
1. Register at Saas Fee
This is a requirement for all visitors coming to Saas Fee and is related to the touris tax (kurtaxe) and the Saastal Card (guest card)
Pay tourist tax online
Only when you booked via booking.com (otherwise your tax is already part of the price). In your confirmation message, there is a payment link. We charge CHF 7.00 (adults, kids 50%) per day, all year through for the total costs, which is less than what we are allowed to charge to our guests.
Receive your Saastal Card
If you have done step 1 and 2, then several days before your arrival, Saas Fee will automatically send you an email with instructions on how to get your Saastal Cards.
Traveling to Saas Fee

Entering your apartment
No keys required, you should have received your door code 1 day prior to your arrival, either via email or Airbnb/Booking.com messages. The code works from 15:00 onward.
Common Questions
I arrive late in the evening, is that okay?
No problem! Your access code works from 15:00 (3pm) on the day of your arrival oward. There is no key-handover. You have access 24/7 until your departure day until 10am. (You can leave your luggage before check-in time in the ski-room which is acccessible from the outside of the building)
Can I get an early check-in or late check-out?
It takes a lot of time to clean the appartments, and early check-in or late check-out is often not possible. However, you can leave your luggage in the Ski-Room at your own risk. Your access code for the ski-room works from 10am on the day of arrival (and your appartment from 3pm) and it works until 5pm on the ski room on your departure day.
What is provided in the apartment
All bed sheets, shampoo, soap, and towels are provided. Kitchen essentials (salt, pepper, oil, tea, and some Nespresso cups to get you through the first day), along with a cheese fondue set, are ready for you.
Is there a washing machine?
yes there is. It is a shared laundry room behind the ski room. Accessible through the outside of the building. To enter, you can use your same access code.
