While other ski areas in the Canton of Wallis (Valais) are closing down, Saas Fee to date remains open. Restaurants are closed again after a short period since the 26th. The exception of hotel restaurants for their own guests. Takeaway is possible. It is a bit unclear until when the restaurant and bar lockdown remains.
Somehow we got very lucky with Saas Fee. Besides the fact that we’re still open one of the very few here in Europe, and even in Switzerland. The snow is just phenomenal and the weather is sunny and bright. A true winterwonderland for hiking, sledging, skiing, and boarding.
